Interclean 2022 – face to face makes the difference

The members of the DHYS Group came together to make a big impact at Interclean in Amsterdam, highlighting their strengths and those of their supply partners, exploring new sales strategies and exhibiting appealing private labels. Beyond these fascinating topics of discussion, this highly successful outing was underpinned by the face-to-face format of the trade fair itself. Emerging from the many restrictions enforced by the battle against coronavirus, it was a great relief to finally experience all the emotion and inspiration of quality business communication.

The DHYS Group was well-prepared for the restart in Amsterdam, receiving a whole host of international supply partners at 20-minute intervals as part of a ‘speed dating’ concept in the afternoons. Its consultants also held initial talks with international customers and trading companies from countries currently outside the DHYS network, pointing the way to potential collaboration in the future. The team at the booth addressed a wide variety of issues, such as the benefits of global procurement, international transport logistics and the high-performance wholesale range, with much attention being paid to strategic trade fair partners Diversey, Duni, Ecolab, ESSITY, Kimberly-Clark, Metsä Tissue, Unger, Vileda, WEPA and Werner & Mertz. And the vast experience of this well-connected trade network boasting owner-run structures and an exemplary commitment to sustainable quality management also left a lasting impression.

Preferred and strategic supply partners of the DHYS Group were highly prominent in everything from display walls and videos to product demos. They even participated in a canal cruise followed by an evening event including dinner, music and a show. For some 150 members and suppliers of the DHYS Group, this unforgettable gathering at the historic West-Indisch Huis after a pulsating day at the trade fair represented far more than a simple hearty meet and greet. This further underlined how vital it is to strike the balance between personal interaction and professional exchange.

Looking ahead to the next instalment of this trade fair in two years’ time, the DHYS Group is keen to ensure that these personal moments once again make the difference.

The booth in hall 11 was staffed by consultants from all 12 member groups: GEH Groupe Europe Hygiène (France), Grupo DINO (Spain), GVS Group (Germany), We Italia (Italy), Extra Lux (Slovenia), SOCIUS Network (United Kingdom), Eurosan (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Tapess (Croatia), Exclusiva (Netherlands), Eurosyst (Greece), Pireka (Lithuania) and Proficlean (Bulgaria).
