Established by William Charles Evans, the business initially began producing spraying essences for cinemas, before branching out into manufacturing disinfectants, liquid soaps and powders.
Today, Evans products cover an extensive range of applications for the industrial, professional hygiene and food process sectors. With a focus on HORECA and healthcare, keeping restaurants, hotels and hospitals hygienic and safe, providing surface disinfectants, heavy-duty cleaners, warewashing and laundry products, including a comprehensive range of hand hygiene and skin care products.
Evans also supply a variety of chemical auto and manual dosing equipment systems, which focus on reducing total cleaning operation costs, including energy and water consumption.
The company, which is still owned and run by the Evans family, currently exports to over 85 countries worldwide and has licensed manufacturing units overseas.

Evans Vanodine has built its reputation on innovation and commitment to research and development. Three in-house laboratories enable its microbiologists and chemists to deliver quality and consistency at every stage of development and production, to ensure all its products comply with regulations. The UKAS accredited Microbiology laboratory is approved to test disinfectants against European Standard test methods, guaranteeing products are fit for purpose and that virucidal and bactericidal claims are substantiated.
Evans technical team is always on hand to assist with customer problems, offering advice and solutions. Evans also provides training and support materials for customers, to ensure the most up to date and efficient methods of cleaning and disinfection are being used throughout the industry.
